The most successful learners understand the necessity of viewing education is a life long process. It's my belief that doing anything well requires persistance and hard work. There is more to know than one could possible hope to learn in one life time.

 

I take my role as an educator very seriously. I understand that I can best serve my students by kindling in the a desire to truly own their education and stimulate their intellectual curiosity so that the majority of the their English language learning happens outside the classroom. To do this, I try and model best practices. As such, I am actively committed to my professional development. From obtaining my MATESL degree to attending seminars on classroom management and lectures on a variety of second language and linguistics topics, I have deeply invested into my growth as a learner and educator. Below, you will find a small sample of some of professional development milestones.
